Aligned with the United Nations objectives, we provide information, resources and networks through The Blue Economy hub to connect you with other stakeholders to trigger collaboration and catalyse innovation that will create new jobs, more food, renewable sources of energy as well as greater economic and coastal security for our communities.

Through our National and International hub partners, we create a platform for collaboration, networking, and business connections for opportunities in the Blue Economy, particularly in our focus areas of Shipbuilding, Aquaculture, Transportation, Marine ICT, and Fisheries.

    In March 2016, the National Waterways Act of India increased the number of national waterways across the country from the earlier 6 to 111. Without proper studies, the future of the Inland Waterways Transport project is in doldrums; the project badly needs to be developed but with a firm re-boot.
